Happy Father's Day to The Clint
You're an awesome Dad.We spent the majority of the weekend camping in downpour. Not rain, downpour! You know, like when you pour water out of a bucket? It doesn't sprinkle out. Rain wouldn't have been so bad. Everything is wet. Everything is cold. Everything is dirty. There were lakes and rivers everywhere. The people at the campsite next to us left in the middle of the night. There is a 6" deep lake where their tent used to be. We really did have a lakeside campsite! Haha. At least the van did well on it's first long journey with our family. On the way home we did a little detour through Blackfalds, where I went to elementary school. I looked at my old house, the back-alley I was attacked by dogs in, the park I used to play in, the bar my now deceased step-dad used to be a bouncer in, the 'farm' across the highway from our house where our horse lived ... memories.
But now we're home and the sun is shining. Camping in two weeks. But first - the last days of school and a few more birthday parties.
